Ceramic Artworks

Im interested in the notion of an index or an imprint becomes clearer and narrative can be distorted in different ways. I choose forms that imply a moment of collapse or unravelling. I love to create surface casts that come directly from the real forms that they describe. I like to put contrasting textures together so the viewer can  insert meaning. My surface casts come from the places around where I live. They're from tree bark, plants, sea barnacles and the hands of the people who love me.
